My cat is skinny because of his hyperthyroidism and this food was recommended by his vet along with his medication for the additional assistance.

It's hard to find this food because it's only sold in veterinary clinics so I Was pleasantly surprised when I found it here. It saved me money as well because it's cheaper than buying it from my vet.

The only thing I've noticed is the cans from this website is a slightly light brown color than the food I'm getting from my vet. But it's exactly the same as I've compared the cans.

I've been feeding this food for years now for my cat with hyperthyroidism, my vet told me I can mix in other foods to help get rid of my cat's hunger. However this is a huge NO!, After doing so much research I found out that cats on this thyroid care food, must only eat this food none other. Otherwise the benefits of this food which lowers the iodine levels doesn't work. So please be careful.

Overall with this food alone and the medication it seems to be doing the job in keeping my cat's thyroid level at normal. But please DO NOT mix this food with anything else as the cat has to be solely on this food, only other food you can mix it with is the same Thyroid food in it's dry form.
