Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diet NC (Neurocare) Formula Dry Dog Food - 11.3kg

Feeding the Ageing Brain What It Needs Most

Canine Cognitive Dysfunction — the dog equivalent of dementia — affects over 28% of dogs aged 11–12 and over 68% aged 15–16. Just like in humans, the ageing brain benefits enormously from specific nutritional interventions. Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diet NC (Neurocare) Formula delivers the nutrients most supported by neuroscience research for cognitive health.

• Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) — converted to ketone bodies that provide an alternative energy source for neurons that can no longer efficiently use glucose
• DHA (Omega-3) — essential structural component of neuronal membranes; supports synaptic function and neuroplasticity
• Antioxidants (vitamins E and C, selenium) — protect neurons from oxidative damage, which accelerates in ageing brains
• B vitamins — support methylation pathways involved in neurotransmitter synthesis
• Prescription required — for use under veterinary supervision

Clinical trials show measurable improvements in trainability and cognitive test performance in older dogs fed NC Formula. Start early — NC works best as a preventive tool before advanced decline.
